AI Presence Score is a composite metric that measures citation frequency, attribution confidence, platform breadth, and topical coverage across major AI answer engines for a defined set of queries related to an executive's area of expertise. A high score indicates a well-developed indexed authority record. A low score indicates a gap between professional expertise and indexed publishing record that is correctable through consistent publishing over 12 to 18 months.

AI Presence Score

AI Presence Score is a metric that quantifies how consistently and confidently an executive appears in AI-generated answers across major platforms for queries related to their area of expertise. It measures citation frequency, attribution confidence, platform breadth, and topical coverage across a defined query set.

AI Presence Score is a composite metric that measures how consistently an executive appears in AI-generated answers across major platforms, including Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, for queries related to their stated area of expertise.

It is the visibility metric that follower counts and Google rankings cannot replace. A large LinkedIn following measures audience size on one platform. A strong Google ranking measures page authority. Neither measures whether AI engines cite the executive when decision-makers ask about their field without specifically searching for the executive's name.

AI Presence Score is built from four component measurements. Citation frequency measures how often the executive's name appears across a defined set of queries on major AI platforms. Attribution confidence measures how specifically and credibly the attribution is framed when the executive is cited. Platform breadth measures whether the executive appears across multiple AI platforms or primarily on one. Topical coverage measures the range of relevant queries for which the executive's name surfaces.

A high AI Presence Score indicates a well-built indexed authority record: consistent long-form publishing, named authorship with schema markup, cross-domain attribution, and topical focus. A low score indicates the indexed record has not yet been built, regardless of the executive's actual expertise.

OnAtlas tracks AI Presence Score automatically, scanning major AI platforms for an executive's name across a defined query set and generating trend data over time.

Your AI Presence Score measures the one thing your follower count cannot: whether AI engines cite you when no one is specifically searching for your name.
